Troubleshooting Common Issues in OmnusVerse

Below are ways to resolve some common issues in the Virbela Go OmnusVerse.

Black Screen Upon Entering OmnusVerse

If you are only seeing a black screen when you try to enter the OmnusVerse try these steps:
  1. Make sure you are using the Google Chrome browser
  2. Close any other unneeded open browser tabs or Windows to free up memory
  3. Go back to your open OmnusVerse browser tab and perform a "hard refresh" (see a or b options below)
    1. On Windows, hold down the Ctrl key while clicking the refresh button with your mouse
    2. On macOS, hold down the Command key while clicking the refresh button with your mouse
If the above steps don't work, consider quitting your browser, restarting your computer, then signing into OmnusVerse in Chrome without opening any other browser tabs or windows.

Microphones and Webcams

If you are using Google Chrome, follow these steps to change your microphone input settings.

1. While Virbela Go is open, click on the microphone icon in the top left area. 


2. Ensure your microphone has permissions toggled on (see screenshot below) and then click the > next to Microphone.


3. Click on Manage


4. Choose your preferred microphone from the list of available microphones. If you do not see your microphone, try disconnecting and reconnecting the device. 


For webcams, follow the same steps but for the "Camera" option.
